Who We Are
RiverSong Sanctuary is an exceptionally small, independent, family-run, 24-hour, 365-days a year, on-call, volunteer, rescue and comprehensive supportive resource dedicated to serving all animals (domestic, farm, and wild) in need.
We help hundreds of animals (injured, orphaned, sick, abandoned, stray, neglected, last chance) in our community (and beyond) each year!
How to Donate
Donations can be made through PayPal via Gentle Heart Animal Advocacy (GHAA) or by check made out to Gentle Heart Animal Advocacy (just make sure to put RiverSong in the notes/check memo) and mailed to:

What We Do
- Aid in the Recovery of Lost & Found Pets
- Assist with spaying & neutering of cats, kittens, dogs, & puppies
- Counseling/Advice
- Feral Trapping (including spaying and neutering)
- Find lifelong homes for adoptable companion and farm animals
- Provide access to medical attention (in cases such as road accidents, wounds, injuries, attacks, sickness, abuse, etc.)
- Provide food, assistance, and/or temporary shelter to the animals of folks who otherwise could not keep their animals (elderly, disabled, domestic violence, traveling, homeless, etc.)
- Rehabilitation and Relocation
- Rescues (including those who were going to be shot or drowned due to various reasons)
- Rescue cats stuck in trees
- Resources for at-home euthanasia
- Sanctuary/refuge and care for special-needs (missing a limb or eye, elderly, moms & newborns, orphans, severely disabled, very ill, hospice, etc.)
Our all-volunteer organization receives no government funding and has no paid positions so we rely solely on the generosity of donors. All money received goes directly to our rescue efforts.
Community Assistance
If there is a genuine need in our community where we can help, we do! We have facilitated with births, hospital runs, and pulling vehicles out of ditches, providing food, medical care, temporary housing, and lots more…
